ring size guide

Option 1 - Measure a ring you already own

The most simplest and easy way to find your size is to measure one of your existing rings. This is also particularly helpful if you are trying to purchase a ring for someone else. All you need to do is:

  • Take your ruler and measure straight across the inside of the ring from edge to edge

  • Take the diameter measurement in millimetres, and then use our measurement-conversion chart here to find your ring size

If you are unsure about your measurements, feel free to get in contact with me for assistance, I will gladly help.

Option 2 - Use a ring sizer

Don’t have a ring you can measure? No problem, a reusable ring sizer can be purchased here.

Sizing tips

  • Finger size changes a little throughout the day because of temperature, activities, etc. When warm, fingers tend to expand slightly. When cold, fingers tend to shrink. Most people find they have puffier fingers in the morning, but that their fingers shrink to their normal size during the day

  • Our dominant hands are often slightly larger in size

  • Wider bands have a tighter fit than thinner bands. If measuring using a currently owned ring, try to measure a ring with a similar width as the style you are purchasing

How should my ring fit?

A good fit means that your ring should be comfortable to wear most of the time. As fingers are prone to changing sizes throughout the day, sometimes your ring may be slightly loose or a little snug. A good rule of thumb - rings should go on with relative ease and come off with little difficulty. A proper fitting ring should slide over your knuckle with a little friction and fit snugly on your finger, but not too tight. You should feel resistance and need to apply a little extra force to remove the ring backwards over your knuckle. If your ring falls between two sizes, order the larger of the two sizes - just to be safe!

What length necklace is right for me?

If you have already have a necklace that is the length you’d like, you can simply measure by laying it straight and measuring it with a ruler.
Alternatively, drape a piece of string around your neck and pull it down to a point, the way it will hang with a pendant or centrepiece hanging from it. Hold the string where you want the necklace to land on your chest. Remember, the pendant will hang below this point, so make sure you’re measuring the length you want the chain to be, not the bottom of the entire necklace.
